How do I specify location?

All services ordered through OurFundi are delivered directly to you at the location of your choosing. Simply drop the pin on your specific location when ordering the service.

How fast will my order be processed and/or how long should I expect to wait before I am matched with a Fundi?

To ensure that we connect you with the right Fundi, we require up to 4 business hours to find the right fit. Our standard working hours are 7 am - 7 pm. However, if you are in urgent need of a service before 7 am or after 7 pm, we charge a fee of KES 1500

Why can I trust OurFundi and who will you be sending?

Our client base trusts and believes in the quality of our services and our digital platform always the entire process to be transparent - you don't need to work about inexperienced workers, hassle about payments or rates, or worry about communication. We serve as the neutral intermediary and ensure all work is delivered and completed to industry standards. This means ensuring that the Fundis we connect you with have a breadth of experience, are professional, trained, and certified in their craft. Once we find the right match, we will notify you of the details - name, and contacts of your Fundi before the service.

What locations do you service?

We currently serve most locations in Nairobi but ONLY up to the points listed below. We now also serve Ngong Town and Syokimau! // North-East: Thika Road - up to Ruiru // South-East: Mombasa Road - up to Syokimau // South-West: Ngong Road - up to Ngong Town // South: Magadi Road - Up to Rongai // West: Waiyaki Way - up to Kinoo // North-West: Limuru Road - up to Muchatha - North: Kiambu Road - Up to Ndumberi Note: orders received after 5 pm for that evening or the following morning cannot currently be serviced.

In case materials are needed, can I purchase them by myself/how do I pay for materials?

In the event that we need materials, the Fundi will share a quote with a breakdown of all materials. You will then receive an invoice from OurFundi with details on how to make payment for the materials. An invoice for the outstanding amount will be dispatched once the job is complete.

Why do I need a site visit? I know what the problem is

All jobs in this category start with an initial assessment of needs, which allows us to ensure that a quote you receive from a Fundi is fully accurate to your problem. The Fundi can continue with the actual service right after you book his quote for the job.

What if I want to change the service I ordered?

While our Fundis are flexible and maybe able to provide more than one service, we encourage you to reorder new services (when from a different category or from a different product line) through our website.

Why do I need to pay for diagnosis?

We charge for diagnosis in order to pay Fundis for their time and expert advice on the problem you would like resolved. The fees also cater for the Fundis transport to and from your location.

I am not happy with the quality of the service? Will I get compensated?

We are committed to ensuring the best of quality at the most affordable of prices. Should you be dissatisfied with your service we recommend that you provide feedback to our Job Satisfaction team within 24 hours via email Info@ourfundi.com or directly at 0710709715. We deal with each complaint on a case by case basis and offer several options for resolution e.g. free redoing of the service, OurFundi credit, or cash back.

I am no longer available for my service, what do I do?

In the event that you need to reschedule your service, please notify our offices via email Info@ourfundi.com or directly at 0710709715 as soon as possible so that we may notify the Fundi assigned to your job.

How many people do I get if I order more than one thing?

Our Fundis have category specific specialties. If you order more than 1 service in the same category, you will get 1 pro to do all jobs. However, if you order jobs from different categories, you will get different pros for each category of jobs.

Can I tip my Fundi?

If you are satisfied with the service that you received and would like to thank the Fundi, we encourage that you rate and review them at the end of the service. If you additionally choose to add a monetary tip, any money exchanged is at your discretion. Please note that any tips paid directly to the Fundi will not be considered as payment for any add on services or product changes during your service. You will still receive another invoice from OurFundi for any pending and outstanding charges.

Will the Fundi come with a helper?

From time to time, the Fundi may come with a helper for the actual job. You will be given prior notification in case a helper is needed for your job.

What if the Fundi does not know how to fix my problem?

If the pro is not able to fix your problem, we will send another pro to provide second opinion. We will deal with each issue on a case by case basis.

I want a different service from what is listed, how do I order?

As we continue to grow, we will be adding newer products to this category. Anytime a new product or category is launched, we will send a newsletter about the new offering. Follow our social media handles to find out about promotions and vouchers in the meantime.

Is there a guarantee on materials you're using?

OurFundi provides a 30 day gurantee on all our materials and services.

I need someone urgently and cannot wait 4 hours, what do I do?

In case you need someone urgently, make a request on the website and call 0710709715 in order to get quick assistance. To get a Fundi to your place ASAP, we will charge an additional bodaboda transport fee based on your locaton.

Do I need to be in the house for the diagnosis or can my housekeeper let the Fundi in?

In order to ensure the Fundi is provided the full information needed to made a correct diagnosis, we advice that you are at home during the visit. This helps us to minimize any error in terms of scope of work to be covered.
